The Eccentric Empath Counseling Services

Welcome to The Eccentric Empath Counseling Services! We offer individual, couples and family therapy. Life can throw some unexpected twists and turns at us that we might need help navigating. We provide an environment that allows you to tailor your therapy to your needs. My name is Carla Lopez, and I have been working with adolescents/children since 2010. I first began teaching children with Autism and doing in-home behavior therapy. I have also worked with adults and children in a therapy setting. I have worked in Juvenile Justice for over 5 years and love interacting with kids/teenagers and their families. I have also worked in a few psychiatric hospitals with individuals (children and adults) who are in crisis and need help transitioning back into the community. I also enjoy working with other therapists and helping navigate our stressful field of work. I enjoy working with a diverse population and helping with whatever life throws our way. A few fun facts about me: -I am a natural redhead and have a little boy who has beautiful red hair. -I grew up in a small town in California and was active in 4-H raising feeder calves and rabbits. -I love to be creative and make things, even though I am not very artistic. -I love dad jokes!
